VINYASA YOGA Vinyasa Yoga This class is inspired by the teachings of Vinyasa Yoga teacher Gerard Arnaud of Paris with particular attention to deep breathing which helps to control the emotions, an important aspect of this dynamic yoga practice . This class is intended for students who have already practised basic postures and would like to try joining them together in breath-synchronised movements (vinyasas which are extended sun salutations). There will some mantra yoga (chanting) at the beginning and at the end, after relaxation, as a way of improving breathing techniques. Suitable for those who have a proficient knowledge and mastery of basic postures.

ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA: This is a vigorous, dynamic form of yoga that would benefit those seeking strength, flexibility and an energy boost. This system of breath and connected movement introduces a wide range of postures all linked together in a continuous flow. The practice produces some intense heat and a detoxifying sweat. It is best suited to those who have already practiced some yoga before or beginners who are already fit. It is not suitable for expectant mothers.
BASIC YOGA: An introduction to the Yoga practice. If you are new to Yoga and would like to ease in slowly, this is the class for you. Also good for those who would like to work at a gentle pace.
BEGINNER'S YOGA A class for those wishing to practice yoga for the first time. Looking at yoga postures (asanas) to balance the body and working with the breath to balance the mind. Also suitable for those looking for a gentler paced practice. This class can create a foundation from which to explore other Yoga styles and approaches.
CLASSICAL HATHA YOGA: A blend of traditional yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditative practices. A mix of the vigorous and the gentle, the ancient and the new. Suitable for all abilities.
DEEP RELAXATION FOR STRESS For those in need of relaxation for stress. This guided relaxation session can help induce a feeling of calm and relaxation for those suffering stressful states of mind and body such as acute anxiety, depression, 'overload', grief, extreme fatigue, recovery from illness and post-operative conditions.
DYNAMIC YOGA: Jivamukti Yoga is a vigorous flowing style, deeply rooted in the spiritual traditions of yoga. Classes include pranayama (controlled breathing techniques), vinyasa-style asana practice where movement is linked to breath and meditation. Inspiring music forms the background to the class which is interspersed with yoga philosophy.
FLOW YOGA: A fluid form of yoga which sequences yoga postures together so that they flow from one to another.
GOLDEN YOGA: Yoga has been shown to help alleviate or reduce many of the health challenges we face as we get older. This class is a more gentle form of our classical hatha yoga class and is suitable for the over 60s.
KUNDALINI YOGA: The Yoga of Awareness, a Kundalini class contains a comprehensive system of exercises, breathing, meditation, chanting and healthy mental projection. Suitable for all abilities.
NIA: NIA: This class is an uplifting, healing and empowering blend of 9 movement forms - 3 Healing arts ( Alexander Technique, Feldenkreis, Yoga), 3 Dance Arts and 3 Martial Arts (including Tai Chi). PILATES Pilates is a method of teaching how to isolate specific muscles or groups of muscles to improve core strength, body tone, posture and flexibility. The classes are suitable for men and women of all ages and for beginners and intermediate levels.
POST-NATAL RECOVERY & BABY YOGA This class is specially designed to provide a warmly supportive environment in which to enjoy getting to know your baby and sharing practices to aid post-natal recovery. It brings together activities and relaxation practices that are beneficial for both baby and mother. For mums, yoga can tone muscle, strengthen the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, relieve stress and boost energy. For babies, it can promote restful sleep, support infant development and relieve common ailments. When mothers and babies enjoy yoga together, their mutual delight is magical.
