Sasha Norton

Sasha started practising yoga to help ease her stressful lifestyle working in IT and to complement her more conventional exercise options at the gym. After 17 years in IT, in 2003, she made a career change by taking up a Hatha Yoga teacher training programme studying with Bob Smith (author of Yoga for a New Age) and KI McGraw from the Hatha Yoga Center of Seattle. Sasha is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level with the Yoga Alliance and a Level 2 (Exercise and Movement) Instructor with the Register of Exercise Professionals. Sasha's preference is for a dynamic, physically challenging style of asana practice (Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga) leading to a deep state of relaxation in preparation for meditation. She teaches public classes aswell as intensives and yoga retreat holidays.
